Week 12 Sleepers and Value Picks
Quarterback
Matthew Stafford
Averaging a league-most 41 pass attempts per game, we’re not afraid of the Megatron-Ravis battle impacting Stafford’s numbers. Get him in your lineup.
Colin Kaepernick
What’s the cure to struggling, inconsistent play from your quarterback? A matchup with the soft Washington secondary.
Eli Manning
Toasted the Cowboys in Week 1 for 400 yards and three scores.
Running Back
Zac Stacy
The Bears have allowed 120+ rushing yards in each of their last five games and six of their last seven. Over his past three games, Stacy is averaging 26.6 carries per contest.
Andre Brown
Opposing teams have rushed for 100+ yards in six of the ‘Boys last seven tilts and was absolutely lit up by New Orleans last week.
Chris Ivory
If Haloti Ngata is out again, a matchup with the Ravens doesn’t look all that scary.
Ryan Mathews
Matchup be damned, Mathews comes at a steep discount this week. I’ll trust a guy whose piled up 33 caries for 186 yards over his past two games for about 6% of my Week 12 budget.
Wide Receiver
Vincent Jackson
The Detroit secondary is burnable and we expect Tampa to be competitive in a mini-shootout.
Eric Decker
Welker is coming off a concussion, Julius Thomas is an banged up if he plays at all, and Damaryius will have his hands full with Aqib Talib. If your buying a Broncos wideout, Decker should give you the most bang for your buck this week.
Torrey Smith
The Jets’ secondary got burnt by Marquise Goodwin and the Bills last week. Smith is a better all around player and should have no problem finding space downfield… now you just gotta hope Joe Flacco can hit him.
Brandon Lafell
It’s a tougher matchup than most think but with 8+ targets in each of his past three games, Lafell is a solid sleeper at just 4% of your budget.
Tight End
Rob Gronkowski
Now that Jummy Graham has already played, Gronk is the clear top tight end this week.
Vernon Davis
Washington’s secondary is really bad.
Delaine Walker
In a PPR you gotta love the attention Walker has been getting from Ryan Fitzpatrick of late. Solid bargain for Week 12.
