Phils in Five: Episode 5 – South Beach Stinker
Posted By:Bretsky on April 18, 2022
Well, F****CK. The Phillies struggles in Miami continued this weekend as the Fightins dropped 3 of 4 to sink to 4-6 on the year and are just a half game out of the cellar in the National League East. That is losses No. 11,116, 11,117 and 11,118 for the franchise, extending the record of the most losses by any team in human history.
Save for an offensive outburst early Saturday evening, the Phillies were a mess on both sides of the ball, failing to find consistency on offense while the starting rotation underwhelmed in a big way.
In this Episode:
- Weekend Recap – Bad pitching, (almost) no hitting, and Wheeler velo… yikes!
- Bohm keeps hitting
- Phillies vs. Rockies series preview
- Would it Dong? Apparently this ball by hit by Patrick Wisdom would not dong in Coors.
